I Voted, Did You?

Just a quick reminder: if you are an American, and you haven’t already voted, then get out there and do it now! Some of the lines are quite long and some of the polls are about to close, so get in quickly!

As a very wise man (my husband) said to me, ‘If you don’t vote, you don’t have the right to complain.’

    • I was really shocked when I learned that some people waited up over four hours to vote in some areas of the country. Democracy in action! I think the electoral college should be disbanded because unless you live in a battleground state, your vote doesn’t mean much. Obama still took about 51% of the popular vote, so the result would have been the same. I have a very strict personal philosophy about not discussing my political views (social views are another matter) so I won’t tell you who I voted for, but I am glad you are happy. 🙂
